Staying At Ol Tukai Lodge Amboseli National Park

Ol Tukai Lodge is located inside Amboseli National Park in Kajiado County Kenya.

Amboseli Ol Tukai Lodge has a main lobby that features traditional Kenyan décor that features various ethnic groups. The décor’s them is red.

The entrance to the lodge’s reception features the elephant logo which depicts the main attraction when you visit Amboseli National Park. The main attraction of this park is elephants.

The rooms are located within an expansive land that overlooks the park and Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain. The lodge has beautiful views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The lobby gives way to a pool area with direct views to the mountain and wildlife

The lodge is a four-hour drive from Nairobi. The best way to get here is to hire a tour company to pick and drop you. You also have the option of driving yourself to the park as it is not so far from Nairobi.

Other amenities found at Ol Tukai Lodge include a swimming pool. The pool has loungers, seats and parasols you can use for relaxation.

Ol Tukai Lodge has 80 luxury chalet rooms adorned with African Artefacts and wildlife, created with attention to detail.  Ol Tukai has twin rooms, triple rooms and disability rooms with very elaborate interior décor.

I stayed in this room. It was a standard room with views of the Amboseli National Park. A standard room has a washroom area. Each washroom has toiletries for guests to use.

The exterior of the rooms have a terrace with two seats and a table for relaxation. I must say Ol Tukai Lodge is the perfect weekend getaway destination hotel. It is also a great place for couples to come and unwind or if you are considering a place to stay during your honeymoon then Ol Tukai Lodge is a place you can consider.

The food at the lodge was also nicely prepared and the staff take into consideration the COVID 19 protocols.
